"Breathtaking views, very friendly staff and excellent food. My husband and I have been visiting Castiglioncello for many years and frequented many of the areas top rated restaurants. Novelli has become our absolute favorite. Best cacciucco in Livorno, excellent spaghetti con vongole with bottarga - lovely frittura, crudo and solid wine list. The views are stunning any time of day, but particularly at sunset. Very kind staff. 10/10"

"Best appetizer of raw seafood delights accompanied. The view is spectacular and the warm, wonderful owners have made this 3rd generation restaurant an absolute must when in the area. The service was excellent and both owners speak English for those who do not speak Italian. Beautiful attention to detail in the look of the restaurant. They offer small bottles of Prosecco and wines to accompany your lovely meal."

"This restaurant is next to the Rex Hotel in which we were staying. It's right on the coast with pleasant views. It was most welcoming and the menu choices quite extensive. I love seafood and it was right up my street. These guys know what they are doing and it was exquisite with a great local wine to complement the meal. The staff are friendly and attentive. It's a popular place and I would return."
